PLAINVIEW — 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓÆµ Baptist University’s Office of Career Services will host its Career and Graduate School Fair from 1p.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, in the Multipurpose Room of the Mabee Learning Resources Center on the Plainview campus. The venue change accommodates maintenance work on the Laney Activities Center basketball court.
“This fair brings employers and graduate programs to our students and alumni in one place, making it easier to turn conversations into opportunities,” said Jeffrey Vera, Director of Alumni Relations and Career Services. “Come with a polished résumé, dress professionally, and be ready to share your story—we’ll help you make valuable connections.”
Open to all WBU students and alumni, the fair will feature organizations representing a range of industries and graduate programs. Attendees can explore full-time roles, internships, part-time positions, and advanced study options. No registration is required for students or alumni.
“51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓÆµ’s mission includes preparing servant-leaders for their callings,” Vera said. “Events like this fair connect our Pioneers directly with decision-makers, accelerating their path from classroom to career or graduate study.”
Employers and graduate programs are invited to reserve space at . Registration is free, but space is limited.
Almost 20 employers, schools, and organizations have registered to be a part of the fair, including Amarillo and Plainview public schools, Corteva Agriscience, PNC Bank, Texas Tech Health Science Center Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Lubbock Christian University, and Texas Department of Public Safety.
