PLAINVIEW — 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓÆµ Baptist University will launch its 2025–2026 Women in Scholarship Lecture Series with a trio of presentations at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, in HAC Studio B of the Harral Auditorium Complex. The venue, formerly known as the Black Box, provides an intimate setting for exploring diverse ideas and perspectives.

The Women in Scholarship Lecture Series provides a platform for faculty to share their research while fostering dialogue across disciplines. The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Yahui Zhang, Associate Dean of 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓÆµ’s School of Creative Arts and coordinator of the series, said the program highlights the breadth of scholarship represented at 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓÆµ. “This series allows us to celebrate the voices of women in academia and bring forward research that resonates with both historical significance and contemporary relevance,” Zhang said.Copyright © 2024
