Human Services
At 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓÆµ, our BAS in Human Services offers an inter-disciplinary approach for students interested in interpersonal, cultural, and community relations. Students have the flexibility to customize their degree towards their area of interest and focus on areas such as: child and family agencies, substance abuse treatment programs, behavioral health centers, mental health centers, child protective services, women’s protective services, victim advocacy agencies, family support services, social services, community-based services, and programs for youth, the elderly, and developmentally and physically disabled individuals.
The Human Services degree is available in both face-to-face and online formats.

Accelerated B.A.S. Human Services + M.A. Clinical Counseling
The B.A.S. Human Services + M.A. Clinical Counseling is an 172-hour accelerated program that combines undergraduate and graduate coursework, reducing time to completion through an integrated, academically rigorous, and cost-effective curriculum. This structure avoids duplicated courses and maximizes academic and experiential learning opportunities. The graduate portion of the degree requires some face-to-face weekend format courses based on either the Plainview or San Antonio campuses.
