International Admissions
International Student Requirements
Before 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓÆµ Baptist University can issue travel documentation, international students must complete the admission requirements below.
Step 1
Submit Evaluated Transcripts
International transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES-approved evaluation company.
Common evaluation options
- IEE: Often provides more transfer hours from previous college or university coursework.
- WES: Very thorough, but may take more time to complete.
- INCRED: Required for students participating in WBU athletics.
Which evaluation do I need?
- If you only have a high school or secondary school transcript, request a basic evaluation.
- If you have any university, college, or advanced coursework, request a course-by-course evaluation.
Regardless of evaluation type, students must provide the original transcript, translation, and evaluation. These are commonly known as certified copies and must be requested.
Step 2
Submit Required Admission Documents
The following documents are required to complete admission and gain full acceptance to 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓÆµ Baptist University.
- Bank Statement or Affidavit: Must show a balance within the last 6 months. An affidavit must include the bank emblem, account value, and bank official signature.
- English Proficiency Test Result, if required: Duolingo, IELTS, TOEFL-iBT, or PTE. Please list 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓÆµ Baptist University as the recipient of the results.
- Passport/Visa: A photo can be uploaded to the WBU application website.
These documents must be submitted before travel documentation can be issued, including the I-20 or consulate letter.
Financial Support Documents
Financial support documents show the cost of attendance and the student’s responsibility for any remaining balances. These documents will be sent by the university.
