PLAINVIEW, TX — Dr. Bobby McCloud has been named 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ Baptist University’s Executive Director of International Program Operations.

According to Dr. Donna Hedgepath, President, he will primarily focus on development of a program to bring international graduate students to 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ campuses. The program has already brought students to 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ’s San Antonio campus and there are plans to implement the program at the university’s Phoenix, AZ campus as well as another extension campus. She said the program has the potential to help 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ tremendously increase the university’s student population across campuses.

“51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ is fortunate to have someone with Dr. McCloud’s experience and knowledge moving into this position,” Dr. Hedgepath said. “We believe he is the person we need as we expand opportunities to meet the educational needs of international students.”

A 2019 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ graduate with a Master of Business Administration degree, Dr. McCloud earned a Doctor of Education degree from University of Wyoming in 2023. Bringing years of operational and management experience, along with a financial services background, Dr. McCloud joined 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ in 2015. He has served as Director of Development at 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ’s Lubbock campus.

“I am excited about the possibilities for our international program and how it can help 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ thrive in the future,” Dr. McCloud said.
