Section 02 Mental Health Services Individual counseling, common concerns, crisis intervention, and referrals.

Counseling built around your needs.

Counseling is available to students enrolled at 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ Baptist University. Sessions are focused on goals set during intake and are designed to help students work through personal, social, academic, and career-related concerns.

Individual Counseling

What to expect

Most sessions are individual meetings between the counselor and client. Appointments are typically scheduled every one to two weeks and are usually 30 to 45 minutes long.

While there is not currently a set session limit, many concerns are resolved in approximately six to eight sessions. You and your counselor can discuss length and duration after a treatment plan is developed.

Groups & Courses

Learn with others

Group sessions or non-credit courses may be offered at times through Counseling Services. These opportunities are often built around specific topics and may run four to six weeks.

Students who attend all meetings may be eligible to receive a certificate of completion.
