GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Enrollment Coach position works to convert prospective Plainview undergraduate students into enrolled students. The successful enrollment coach exhibits superior customer service and communication skills as well as professionalism throughout daily interactions and communications with prospective students. This includes phone calls, emails, text messages, campus tours, college fairs, and information sessions held virtually and in-person.

SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES:
1. At all times conducts him/herself with integrity and honesty and in a manner consistent with the mission of the university
2. Proactively supports Plainview undergraduate applicants through the admission process to the point of enrollment
3. Maintains sufficient depth of knowledge about Undergraduate degrees and programs
4. Effectively communicates with students, parents, school counselors, alumni, and other WBU offices throughout the recruitment process
5. Leads group and individual campus tours for interested students and constituents of the university
6. Travels as directed throughout the market area conducting and/or hosting high school fairs/visits and other activities intended to drive student engagement
7. Participates and assists in the planning and execution of on-campus and off-campus recruitment events
8. Stays current on industry standards and trends
9. Meets conversion and yield goals as set by the Director of Undergraduate Admission
10. Has working knowledge of financial aid opportunities and requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A commitment to and an agreement with the purposes and philosophy of Christian higher education as promoted by the Baptist General Convention of Texas/Texas Baptists in general and 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓÆµ Baptist University in particular.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required

Experience and Knowledge:
Experience in higher education with a focus in admissions work is preferred

Skills and Abilities:
1. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with faculty, students, and administrators across the entire university community
2. Ability to collaborate effectively with others across the university community
3. Independent problem solving, self-direction, and strong time management skills
4. Strong organizational and analytical skills
5. Skilled with industry technology including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
6. Familiarity with Slate CRM is preferred
7. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize duties

Conditions of Employment:
Employment is subject to an introductory period to monitor employee performance. If hired, the prospective employee must present documentation within three (3) days of hire date to establish their identity and employment eligibility as required by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Must be able to operate a licensed motor vehicle, have access to a dependable motor vehicle, and possess a valid state driver’s license. Must have and maintain a satisfactory driver’s record.
