Spring Research Day

Abstracts are due April 28, 2025

The School of Mathematics and Sciences at 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ Baptist University annually invites submissions from 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÊÓƵ undergraduate students majoring in math or science for Spring Research Day. The program usually takes place in late April, and students are encouraged to submit an abstract for an oral presentation or poster presentation. Check out the School of Math & Sciences calendar of events for specific dates regarding the program and submission deadlines.

The Student Research Conference is a meeting of the minds held on the first floor of the Moody Science Building. The conference concludes with a complimentary dinner for all participants and an awards ceremony honoring top presentations. Cash awards are given for the Outstanding Talk and Outstanding Poster, as decided by a panel of faculty judges. There is also a students' choice award for each category. To be eligible for cash awards, students must submit a complete abstract by the submission deadline, attend the conference, and present a talk or a poster. There is no registration fee.
